Reflections Week 4 at the #Mindlab

We were looking at Learning Theories this week for the first part of the session. the second part was all about stop motion animation.

Even though I know this, it still struck a chord with me as to how much more I enjoyed the latter part of the session.

Yet, I am quite bookish and love reading up about things. Nevertheless, DOING or CREATING the stop motion animation was more fun , more engaging.
It was more risky, we faltered, made mistakes. The safety net of 'tried and tested learning theories' was not there. But, it was more satisfying.

What do I take away from this? Make the learning in my class even more aligned with 'doing' to learn.
Resonates with the name of my Blog 'Create to Learn'.
